Combine top performance with unlimited flexibility and you have CPC Deluxe 925HD (UK Amazon) . From a casual night in the backyard observing to serious photography at a dark sky location, CPC Deluxe HD is a favorite client app for any app. The CPC / CPC Deluxe family is also the telescope of choice for NASA (CPC 925 is currently being deployed on the International Space Station) and the late astrophysicist Stephen Hawking, who used CPC Deluxe 1100HD (UK Amazon) in home in Cambridge, UK.
The best optics of Celestron
What makes CPC View HD HD unforgettable? It all starts with our proprietary EdgeHD optical system. This unique design adjusts for both coma and field curvature, providing images without aberrations and defined stars on the largest image sensors and all edges of the widest eyepiece.
Read more about how EdgeHD compares to competing optical systems by downloading the EdgeHD whiteboard in the Support and Downloads tab.
All EdgeHD systems include our StarBright XLT coating on all optical surfaces for brighter images and increased light transmission. In addition, all EdgeHD optical tubes are Fastar compatible. Just remove the secondary mirror and mount a third-party lens assembly and you’re ready to take photos of the night sky at blazing f / 2 speeds.

Ultimate flexibility
Customers and reviewers have praised CPC Deluxe as a top performer, great for a star party or college astronomy course. Robust dual telescopic anchor mount for extremely accurate tracking, but weighs only 64.84 lbs and includes a sturdy grip to help set up quickly and easily.
As soon as you turn on CPC Deluxe HD, you will be guided through our simple SkyAlign process. The telescope guides you through the center of any of the three bright objects in the eyepiece. From there, it is ready to locate and track more than 40,000 celestial bodies.
To customize your experience under the stars, CPC Deluxe HD is compatible with all the latest Celestron accessories. Add StarSense AutoAlign and your CPC will align itself in less than 3 minutes. Or add the SkyQ Link 2 WiFi Module and control your telescope with your smartphone or tablet.
With this flexibility, CPC Deluxe HD is a telescope that will serve you well for many years to come, no matter what you choose to do with your hobbies, including photography.

Built with images in mind
Most altazimuth telescopes are primarily designed for intuitive use, but not for CPC Deluxe HD. It offers all the same high-end features that you’ll find on the German equator. Out of the box, your CPC Deluxe can track accurately for up to 30 seconds without additional wedges, thanks to a reconfigured driving train with 6-inch copper gears, stainless steel gears and even Steel and nylon bearings.
If you will be doing longer exposure astrophotography, adding HD Pro Wedge will turn this telescope into a filmmaker’s dream setting. With a wedge, you can take advantage of the All Star Polar Alocate procedure, where you’ve calibrated the pole in just a few minutes. You can also train your mount more precisely with Permanent Programmable Error Correction. Finally, your CPC tracks smoothly through meridians without having to flip the meridians, allowing you to capture subjects in the best part of the night sky.
